  5. The EMIS Distribution and Warehousing Package includes Inventory Management,
  6. Sales Order Management, Purchase Order Management, and the EMIS Financial
  7. Information System. Each module is fully integrated with each other and can
  8. also be purchased to run in a standalone environment. Each module is also
  9. multicompany, multidivisional, and multidepartment

  11. The Inventory Management System contains extensive detailed information and
  12. transactions for each item within each location. The inventory is updated in
  13. realtime when integrated with other EMIS modules. The Sales Order Management
  14. tracks sales orders from conception to shipping, and then tracks the invoice
  15. for analysis purposes. When implemented together, the invoice is updated in
  16. Accounts Receivable automatically at the time that the invoice is written. The
  17. Purchase Order Management module also interfaces directly to Inventory and also
  18. Accounts Payable to complete the solution.
